The maps, photographs and other graphics we prepare go hand in hand with the written parts of your application to the Department of City Planning. In fact, spending hours preparing a set of Pre-Application Statement maps, or a 600-foot Area Map, provides a unique depth of knowledge about a site and the surrounding area that makes writing about it much easier. Why not have us prepare your first draft? As shown below, you can pair our graphics with related written documents, taking a lot of the heavy lifting out of the process of drafting an application:
If we prepare Pre-Application Statement Maps and Site Photographs at the start of the project:
Draft Informational Meeting Request - your two-to-three page letter explaining what is proposed and requesting a meeting with the Department of City Planning.
Draft Pre-Application Statement - the newly required seven page form that provides data about the site, surrounding area, proposed action, and proposed development.
If we prepare an Area Map, Zoning Change Map, and Site Photographs:
Draft Complete ULURP Application - we have experience preparing the entire set of written documents for your ULURP Application: Completing ULURP Forms, Drafting Project Descriptions, Statements of Findings, and Zoning Text Amendments. Our work is based on the instructions published by DCP, the latest samples they've distributed, and similar prior applications that have been successful.
And if you don't want to waste your time, or your staff's time, making copies and going down to Central Intake to file, we'd be glad to handle all of the above. We can even sit in on Review Sessions and Hearings if you want to know what happens but are unable to attend.
